The Committee was composed of at least 50% teachers. A robust system has been developed to store and share meeting documents and other documents regarding this program, which can be readily accessed to answer questions and to support an internal or external audit. An ongoing plan that is factual, accurate, efficient, and palatable to orient teachers, administrators, and board members to SB173 and to their respective LEA TMA systems was developed. The teachers to be included in the LEA TMA are licensed and assigned to teach a class or students as participants. All grade level teachers were considered in our LEA TMA pilot. All content subjects were considered in our LEA TMA pilot. Only teachers in state tested areas are addressed in our LEA TMA system. Teachers in both state tested and untested areas are addressed in our LEA TMA system.

Verifying the Evaluation Criteria and Weight Selections

Student’s achievement and growth weight, within the provided weight range, was included in our LEA TMA. The state achievement assessments in tested areas were used in our LEA TMA assessment of achievement and growth. Below is a list of the state achievement assessments.
A professional evaluations weight, within the provided weight range, was included in our LEA TMA. A professional evaluation tool was named in our LEA TMA. The number of scaled score points in our professional evaluation observation tool was included in our LEA TMA (e.g., 3-point, 5-point…). 3-point scale professional evaluation was converted to a 5-point scale using the process developed and described by CSF. A parent survey weight, within the provided weight range, was included in our LEA TMA. A parent survey was used that CSF offered. The parent survey employed psychometric data needed for CSF to evaluate and approve its use. A teacher collaboration survey weight, within the provided weight range, was included in our LEA TMA. The CSF approved teacher collaboration survey was used in our LEA TMA. The teacher collaboration survey employed psychometric data needed for CSF to evaluate and approve its use.
